Originally from Iraq, Mardo El-Noor is a German-born, Jordanian-raised Kiwi musician and visual artist. After graduating from dental school in year 2000, he was one of the first artists from Jordan to be released by EMI Music Arabia. As a solo artist, producer and re-mixer, he has released four full-length albums with EMI so far, in addition to many songs featured in compilations and other artists' albums. After moving to New Zealand in 2003, he attended School of Art and Design in Auckland University of Technology, receiving a first class with honours MA degree. Mardo's releases so far are: 1.
